One of the newest dessert place that has just opened up in Sunnybank Plaza's foodcourt.. The place is decorated with a kind of jungle feeling with jungle animals' paintings and wild animal's touches here and there.. It was a nice joint with people bustling with seats being filled as the name is called "Coco Jungle", I guess they really did live up to their name..
I have done a post about R & R Cafe Bar before which you guys can check out.. This is actually a delayed post but since I don't want it to go to waste, I thought I would post it anyway...
Been awhile since I went to sushi train and good timing it was, a friend of mine whom I haven't met for a few years was down in Brisbane for a while.. And so, we went to sushi train as she had wanted to see her friend working there.. Wasn't too hungry so we just nibbled on a few and just had a chat mostly.. This sushi train is located in Carseldine Central near Woolies and Nandos etc, at the corner of Beams road.
Red Ocean Seafood is located in Red Hill in a little shopping complex on Musgrave Road.. Place looks like your typical fish and chip shop but I heard that this is one of the best fish and chips you will find in town.. and so, I gave it a try..
Himawari (means Sunflower in japanese) is a japanese joint everyone knows in Elizabeth Arcade in the CBD.. So it was surprising to see that they have opened another joint and this time, who would've figured out, in a southside suburb called Sunnybank.. hahah.. Seems as if Sunnybank is now the place for new restaurants to start hitting in..
Yes.. A delay in a lot of posts and my pile of my food photos just keeps piling up... Getting to them asap, i assure you... Finally finished all of my exams and so I'm free.. for the time being anyway... So I'll try and get as much reviews in... and i'm making the font size bigger, i thought the previous font size was large enough but then realised it wasn't after the review is posted.. so.. here it is..
Going back to Aspley Oriental was another random visit of the closest and a yummy chinese restaurant in the northside.. Went for yum cha, as usual.. and ordered some of the typicals and usuals but also tried other new dishes..
Apologies for lack of posts.. it's past midnight at the moment and I thought I would finally post a review which has been wayyyyyyy-delayed.. So i'm sorry for those who have been expecting this review.. Taking a mini break from my studying which is making me go cuckoo.. Anyways, Pig 'n' Whistle, located in the heart of Queen Street Mall, infront of Queens Plaza.. If you walk past a restaurant in the middle of Queen Street Mall that has live music, then this must be the one... I used to get confused with these restaurants that has a "pig" as their mascot, but no other restaurants serve what Pig 'n' Whistle serves.. Want to know why? Because it's probably the only "Traditional British Pub" that you can find around here in Brisbane..
As you all may have realised, I have not been updating nor have I been blogging lately.. The reason behind this is because I have been very busy with my uni schedule and studies lately and it has just been hard to be able to juggle it between my love for blogging and food... it does not take just a few seconds to do a review, it takes alot of work with the creativity in the writing of the review and of course, the beautiful photos that I would need to trademark this blog onto.. So I apologize for those who have been waiting for more recent and new reviews, I can assure you that after my exams are all finished, I will get straight on to it and will bombard you all with so many delicious, scrumptious, finger-licking, drooling photos of food.. =)
Thank you for reading my blog and I hope you all have enjoyed it.
Please do follow me and feel free to enquire or email me.
Thanks again!
xoxo Tya
A friend of mine said that Nonna's had one of the best seafood pizzas that she's ever tasted and so came here for lunch and tried it for myself.. Nonna's restaurants is three different types of cuisines (italian, seafood and steakhouse) which are basically joined in seatings and you can sit anywhere and can order from any of the different menus they have.. the biggest restaurant in the Harbour Town precint, Gold Coast..
