Old Town Kopitiam Mamak, QV Square, Melbourne

October 10, 2011

Walking around yet again through Melbourne CBD .. taking photoes and sightseeing... I didn't know where to eat... I first actually went to a Korean restaurant but then changed my mind and suddenly missed home food.. And so, I left the restaurant and walked around again ... and then somehow my feet dragged me to QV Square..And this was where I saw "Old Town Kopitiam Mamak" .. An Authentic Malaysian Cuisine .. And even though I am not Malaysian ... But my Indonesian roots has some kind of connection with Malaysian food .. And South East Asians hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm the food is to die for XP ..

Ice lemon Tea anyone ..? It has tea and lemon .. and the straw is the best thing ever invented to break down the lemon juices by nicely stabbing the lemon whilst it's inside the cool beer glass looking thing ... Mix mix mix it ~~

Truthfully, I wasn't as hungry as I was before .. and so, I wasn't sure whether to pick Hainan Chicken or Roti Telur or Roti Prata ... But I am pretty Sure, I think I bought the Roti Telur Bawang ... Three dipping sauces or mixtures .. with two slices or two strips of Roti Telur Bawang... Inside the Roti is .................. Telur AND Bawang .. Wow, no surprise there huh?

Overall, even if I didn't try the other food on the menu .. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a bad choice to choose this restaurant to dine in to than the Korean restaurant that I previously stepped my foot in ... hmmmmm ... And another thing, I think this restaurant was the one that was previously recommended through a TV cooking thing that I was randomly watching one day ... a while ago .... hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....
